How long have you been with glitterstarz, and how did you hear about the position?
In November it will be 3 years... which is crazy to think about! It seems like yesterday I started. Time truly flies here. I actually heard about the position from my Grandma Carol, who was searching online for me to help me out after being laid off from my previous job when the company was bought out. She knew I had a cheer & dance history and was looking for something in the Graphic Design and Marketing field -- so it was PERFECT!
what is your role at glitterstarz?
I started here as a designer, then was promoted to lead designer, and now I am the Creative Director as of January 2018. I assist the other designers to make sure they have everything they need to do their jobs efficiently. I also assist the Social Media department, Email Marketing, and Webstore departments as needed. I occasionally travel to competitions and coaches conferences, as well as other cheer related events. I also look over every order before it goes into production to ensure that colors, fabrics, stone types, etc. are correct.
